Pope's Encyclical on AI

In this video where we explain the Vatican's artificial intelligence encyclical, I built a design referencing Da Vinci's famous 'The Last Supper' painting to make the narrative more immersive. Just as paintings in museums are resources for understanding historical events, I aimed for the audience to understand a historic turning point by navigating through this composition and focusing on the details.

Concept: Why 'The Last Supper'? The Relationship Between Different Characters: The connection between figures in the text like the Pope, Tolkien, and the techno-elites reminded me of this table. There are characters at the table who both cooperate and have conflicting dynamics. Historical and Religious Turning Point: This encyclical, published in the midst of the AI revolution, can be called a modern turning point. And at the center of the story sits one of the world's most powerful religious figures.

AI-Hybrid Design I wanted the visual language to both reflect the era of artificial intelligence and embody the Roman-Renaissance aesthetic. AI Support: After numerous trials with AI tools to capture the atmosphere I wanted, I generated the main visual. Layered Composition: I generated most of the characters at the table individually and separated them into layers as background, table, and figures. This allowed me to create depth within the composition and a detail-oriented camera movement.
