Open Canva on your desktop, browser, or mobile device and search for “Mug” to begin. Then, choose a mug template or start from scratch.

Customize your mug design

Edit your chosen template on our custom coffee mug maker. Use our media library or upload your own elements to perfect your mug’s design.

File your order with Canva Print

Once you’re satisfied with your layout, go ahead and click “Print Mugs” on the upper right-hand side to order and select your preferred printing options.

Finalize your design

Make sure to do a final review of your design. You can also send it to a friend for a second opinion.

How much are your custom mugs?

One custom printed mug ordered from us costs $17.50 (US). There’s no minimum order required, so you can buy only one mug if you prefer, or buy in bulk per order.

Are your personalized mugs dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe?

They sure are! All our 11 oz. (325 ml) custom coffee mugs are microwave- and dishwasher-safe. However, we recommend hand washing them to keep colors and images brighter for longer.

What material are the mugs made of?

Our custom printed mugs are made of bright white ceramic clay. We use FDA-certified inks for printing and high-quality coating for bright colors and durability.

Can you print on both sides of the mug?

Glad you asked! Yes, you can create a design for the front of the personalized mug and a different design for the back. Two-sided printing lets you design two separate images, text, or both.

Can I add my own image or artwork to the mug?

You can definitely use your own photos, logos, and other vectors on your personalized coffee mug design. Simply upload as a JPEG, PNG, or SVG file. Take note that for print products, you should ensure that your photos are at least 300 dpi for the best-looking, high-resolution prints.

Can I sell custom mugs made from Canva?

Our Content License Agreement does not allow the re-sale or redistribution of content. So if you are using elements from our library to create your personalized mug, you can’t sell them. You can read more about our Content License Agreement⁠(opens in a new tab or window) here.

Note: If you are uploading your own content to create your personalized coffee mug (e.g. illustrations you have designed yourself or photos you have taken), you are free to use these however you like.

Is custom mug printing available in my country?

How soon can I get my custom mugs delivered?

Shipping times vary between regions, and delivery to more rural areas may be slightly longer compared to metro areas.

Economy delivery: Up to 14 business days

Standard delivery: Up to 8 business days

Express delivery: Up to 3 business days

All delivery times include a production time of 1-2 business days. Note that these don’t include weekends and public holidays.

A free shipping option is always available. If you’re looking to receive your order sooner, we offer faster shipping for an additional fee.

What’s the return policy for custom mugs?

Currently, we do not offer samples of our products.
