Sunsama helps people plan realistic workdays, protect their attention, and finish without carrying work into the evening.
The product already had a distinct point of view. The design challenge was making that philosophy visible across very different marketing needs, from paid ads and product announcements to launch campaigns and long-form research.
The goal was not to make Sunsama louder. It was to make every message clearer, more relevant, and immediately recognizable.
A calm-versus-chaos concept built around Sunsama’s core promise: bringing tasks, meetings, and communication into one focused daily plan.

Turning calm productivity into scroll-stopping creative

Productivity advertising usually sells speed, output, and doing more.
Sunsama stands for something different: deliberate planning, sustainable focus, and knowing when the workday is complete. The strongest concepts translated those emotional outcomes into simple visual stories rather than generic feature lists.
Ads such as “Turn work chaos into calm focus” combined recognizable pain points, real product UI, and restrained brand styling to make the value clear within seconds.
Multiple concepts exploring calm focus, intelligent planning, attention management, and product-led storytelling within one consistent visual language.

A visual system built for iteration

The work covered multiple creative angles, including product-first ads, conceptual imagery, feature announcements, competitor-inspired recreations, and direct-response layouts.
Each design followed the same core rules:
One dominant message
Product UI as evidence
Strong whitespace and hierarchy
Sunsama orange used selectively
Minimal visual noise
A clear path from pain point to outcome
This gave the team enough flexibility to test new ideas without every campaign feeling like a different brand.

Making product launches feel useful, not promotional

For feature launches, the creative needed to explain what changed while still feeling calm and premium.
The revamped mobile app campaign paired a straightforward message with the real interface, clear platform badges, and minimal supporting copy. The design focused on the outcome users cared about: a faster, more reliable mobile experience with fewer sync issues and less friction.
The same system could be adapted across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, newsletters, and blog assets without losing clarity.
A research-led annual report system that turns complex workplace data into clear, credible, and easy-to-scan insights.

From survey data to an editorial story

The annual report required a different kind of restraint.
Instead of designing it like a sales deck, the report used a consistent editorial system built around typography, direct headlines, simple charts, and limited color. Each page focused on one insight at a time, allowing the data to carry the story.
Topics included productivity windows, work hours, context switching, burnout, flexibility, boundaries, and the measurable impact of using Sunsama.

What the work changed

Sunsama gained a flexible marketing design system that could support:
Ongoing static ad testing
New feature and integration launches
Social and newsletter campaigns
Product-focused visual storytelling
Research reports and data visualization
Blog and website assets
The work made Sunsama’s philosophy tangible across the entire marketing journey, from the first impression of an ad to the deeper credibility of an annual report.

Final takeaway

The best productivity creative does not promise that people can do everything.
It helps them believe they can focus on the right things, finish with intention, and have something left when the workday ends.
That is the story every Sunsama asset was designed to reinforce.
