Interactive developer portfolio — iwesley.dev Overview An independent personal portfolio designed and developed by Wesley Vaartstra. The goal was to let potential clients discover both the person and the technical work, while keeping project enquiries easy to access. Challenge A conventional list of technologies does not explain how a developer thinks. The site needed a distinctive exploration experience that works with keyboard and touch controls, plus a direct route to projects and contact. My role I handled the concept, responsive frontend, exploration-game interactions, project content, contact-form backend and deployment on my Linux VPS. Implementation The workshop contains four discoverable objects and short challenges. Visitors can use WASD or arrow keys, investigate with E, tap objects, or open them directly. A separate work section presents Nivora and the Ubuntu iOS toolchain. Clear service links and a project-request form provide a practical next step. The form validates requests on the server, stores them and sends notification email. Validation and outcome The site is live at https://iwesley.dev. Keyboard and touch navigation, English/Dutch content, image loading and form validation were checked during development. An authorised end-to-end enquiry test confirmed email delivery. This is my own portfolio project; client-conversion results have not yet been measured. What this demonstrates Responsive web development, accessible interaction alternatives, small browser games, backend integration and Linux deployment. Explore the live project: https://iwesley.dev
