VANTA: A Digital Experience for Fine Dining

VANTA is a self-initiated restaurant concept exploring how a digital experience can build anticipation before a guest ever enters the space. I designed and built the website around atmosphere, discovery, and a clear journey from first impression to reservation.

The visual direction combines cinematic food imagery, editorial typography, and a dark, restrained interface to translate the atmosphere of fine dining into the digital experience. The layout balances immersion with clear pathways into the restaurant’s menu, story, and reservations.

From Discovery to Decision

The experience was structured around the questions a potential guest naturally has: What is this place? What can I eat? What does it feel like? And how do I visit? Rather than treating these as disconnected pages, each part of VANTA moves the guest closer to making a reservation.

Turning Interest Into Reservation

Reservation is treated as a primary action throughout the experience rather than something guests have to search for. The booking flow keeps essential information focused and accessible while maintaining the visual language of the wider site.

Useful Without Losing the Atmosphere

Practical information such as opening hours, location, and contact details is integrated into the same visual system, allowing the experience to remain expressive while still making essential information easy to find.

From Design to Live Experience

VANTA was taken beyond static screens and built as a responsive, interactive website in Framer. The final implementation brings together the visual system, navigation, content hierarchy, interactions, and reservation journey in a functioning web experience.
