Work: MONH Market سوق الجملة

MONH is the first order consolidating app in the KSA with over 50k users. The app is already built using native code both on Android and iOS. The MONH team leader wants to migrate from the native code to the Flutter framework, which means we need to rebuild the project code from scratch, including design improvement.

I have entrusted to rebuild the app from scratch using Flutter. The task was initially difficult, as no documentation was available to guide me to understand the business process of the existing app. I need more discussions with the team lead to understand the business process deeply. In essence, communication is a key to rebuilding the MONH app.

I take responsibility for implementing the design from Figma, connecting it to the existing API, and integrating it with third-party services as needed. I started by creating code architecture and implementing the design before jumping to business logic. I appreciated the Backend team as they provided the mockup response data and had good documentation.

I need to integrate the app with Google Maps to display the user's location directly on the app, as MONH sells products based on user Location. Luckily, The payment system is already handled from the Backend side, and I just need to show the payment with WebView.

I create unit testing, and we also test functionality manually on real devices to ensure the app follows user requirements.
