Project Overview

I worked on a project to develop a reusable component library based on designs provided by the Figma team. The primary goal was to create a scalable, adaptable library that could be reused across multiple mobile applications, streamlining the development process and ensuring consistency in UI/UX across future projects.

Deliverables

Component Library Creation: Developed a comprehensive list of reusable UI components from Figma designs.
Scalable Architecture: Designed components to be flexible and scalable, enabling easy integration into future mobile apps.
UI Consistency: Ensured a unified design across apps using standardized, reusable components.
Documentation & Guidelines: Created detailed documentation to help development teams implement the component library in future projects.
Collaboration with Design Team: Worked closely with designers to ensure Figma designs were accurately translated into functional components.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Conducted rigorous testing to ensure the components met performance standards and were easy to maintain.

Technologies Used

Languages: Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android), TypeScript.
Design Tools: Figma for design collaboration, Token Studio for Figma.
Development Tools: Git, Xcode, Android Studio, Visual Studio.
Testing Tools: XCTest, JUnit.

Project Outcome

The component library significantly reduced development time for future mobile projects by providing a set of reusable, scalable, and consistent UI components. This approach also enhanced collaboration between design and development teams, ensuring a unified design standard across different platforms.
