YelloHippo, A personal branding agency that gets 95% of its business from client referrals. A strong position to be in, but it also comes with limitations

YelloHippo needs better control over the quality of leads coming in. They want to expand their reach and test out new markets—goals that are tough to hit on word-of-mouth alone.
02/Challenge

Clients love what YelloHippo does and are happy to refer them; however, recommending a service that others haven’t yet seen for themselves comes with a risk.

If that friend has anything less than a fantastic experience, it reflects back on the person who made the recommendation.
03/Problem

As for the new clients, they’re mostly just relying on a friend’s word for it. They’ll do a quick background check, but...

They don’t always have the time to scroll through social media, and they could easily get distracted. Plus, YelloHippo has no control over what content they will see first, and their current website?
