Desiccant Wheel Dehumidifier

This project was a part of a final year undergraduate project. The main objective of the prototype was to check how the dehumidifying efficiency of the wheel changes with different orientation of silica gel plate. The following is a picture of the prototype and it also shows the silica gel plate orientation i.e. one waved shaped plate and one straight plate with which silica gels are attached with glue.

Here is a glimpse of CAD model development, which we tried to follow 100% while prototype making but you can see the results.

This looks a lot like the final prototype. however the project was successful.
