BOTTLED CULTURE: Turning a blank FMCG brief into a nationwide street dialect and Gen Z meme brand

How a blank-canvas prompt "Let’s make a new juice brand" turned into an end-to-end brand creation spanning naming, positioning, 40cl format strategy, street dialect copywriting, and an omni-channel launch.

The Brief & Market White-Space

The juice aisle was trapped in yellow-juice monotony (orange, peach, apple) split between small 20cl kid boxes and heavy 1L family bottles. We identified a clear market gap: an urban, on-the-go 40cl SKU paired with an unconventional Pink Guava x Mango combo targeting Gen Z.

Naming & Brand Identity

Inventing WAA:

WAA, is actually the word Tunisian GEN-Z use to say Hi. Formulating a short, high-impact brand name (WAA) engineered to double as a spoken dialect word. Paired with a vibrant hot-pink color palette, the visual identity was designed to instantly shatter shelf monotony at point-of-sale.

Copywriting & Brand Voice

"Don't Speak TO Them. Speak LIKE Them."

Reprogramming "WAA" into three distinct conversational triggers: Surprise ("WAA?!"), Greeting ("WAA YOO!"), and Taste ("WAAAW!"). This linguistic hijack generated 10+ organic brand mentions per 15-second ad spot without feeling like corporate advertising.

Audio & Radio Strategy

Street Banter on the Airwaves"

Writing and directing the launch audio strategy using Sandouk Ajab style radio prank callers with the local 3attar ("عم علي") to anchor the new brand naturally in everyday street humor.

OOH & Visual Direction

"Outshining The Monotony" is our north star
Establishing the visual system across urban transit channels, pairing bold 3D typography with authentic street-style models along high-density youth metro lines to drive maximum visual recall.

Digital Content & Social Rollout

From Street Code to Viral Feed
Designing a digital rollout framework that balances hyper-local street comedy edits with ice-cold, condensation bottle pour renders to drive viral engagement alongside high taste appeal.
That's a wrap, a sample of the 80+ slides deck, and here's it summary:
From a blank brief to a nationwide phenomenon, WAA is a 0-to-1 brand creation that transformed a simple juice rollout into an urban cultural movement.
By taking full ownership of the naming, positioning, packaging, and street-dialect copywriting, this strategy successfully bridged the gap between product utility and Gen Z meme culture.
