I designed this promotional flyer

I designed this promotional flyer for Walnut Hill Redevelopment Foundation’s Art Out Loud event, an outdoor community arts experience held at Five Points Alley in Cincinnati. The event brought together poetry, live music, food, vendors, and other creative programming.

The centerpiece of the design combines a fountain pen nib with a microphone, connecting written expression and spoken performance in one visual symbol. I paired that concept with warm tones, string-light imagery, bold typography, and a centered layout to create something that felt artistic, welcoming, and easy to recognize as an outdoor cultural event.
