ReadyShortList, a Recruiting Site With Nothing Hidden

ReadyShortList

One site, two very different readers. Hiring managers need proof and pricing, engineers need to know it's free and confidential. Writing to both at once would have produced a page that half-convinces everybody, so we split the story into separate employer and candidate paths off a shared home page. Each side gets its own process, its own FAQ, and its own call to action, and neither has to scroll past reassurance written for someone else. The home page does the qualifying, states the offer in one line, 3 to 5 interview-ready engineers in 72 hours, and then sends each visitor to the version of the site built for them.

For Employers

Written for CTOs and hiring managers, who arrive sceptical because they have used agencies before and been sent a folder of unscreened CVs. So the page opens the five-dimension rubric all the way up, technical fit at 35 percent down to stability at 10, with the actual questions asked at each stage rather than a promise that vetting happens. Six objections get answered in an FAQ, on the page, before anyone has to raise them on a call. The comparison table names the alternative directly, bulk CV dump against 3 to 5 scored profiles, and a sample one-page candidate profile shows exactly what lands in the inbox, scores, salary, notice period, and flagged risks included. Showing the deliverable is what closes here, not describing it.

For Candidates

The mirror side, aimed at mid-level engineers who have been burned by recruiters spraying their CV across a market. Free and confidential are stated first, because those are the two questions that decide whether anyone reads the rest. The process is laid out as a five-step path, sending a CV through the screen, the task, the profile, and the match, with a realistic time next to each step so nobody is waiting in the dark wondering whether they were dropped. The tone shifts deliberately from the employer side, less proof and pricing, more respect for the applicant's time, since one side is buying and the other is trusting.

Pricing

The commercial terms with nothing hidden. A PKR 50,000 refundable deposit to start the search, 10 percent of first-year salary on local hires, 15 percent on remote, and the refund condition stated plainly right next to the guarantee rather than buried below it. The deposit is credited toward the success fee on hire, so the page can say no charge until you hire and mean it literally. Publishing all of this is the differentiator, because the entire category runs on retainers quoted privately and fees negotiated after interest is established. Putting the numbers on a public page removes the one thing that makes hiring managers hesitate before the first email.

About

The reason the product exists, and it opens by conceding what everyone already knows: CV forwarding and job boards both exist, and neither solves the problem. Job boards produce volume with no filtering, agencies produce a slightly smaller pile with the screening still left to you, and both charge before the result arrives. The page then commits to three operating principles the business holds itself to, which functions as a public standard to be judged against rather than a values statement. Four headline numbers anchor the page so the philosophy never floats free of evidence, and the focus is narrowed on purpose to three niches, backend, full-stack, and data and AI, because a recruiter claiming coverage of everything is claiming depth in nothing.

Register and Sign In

The entry point into the search flow, kept to a single short form so the site never sells past the point of decision. Everything persuasive lives on the pages before it, which means a visitor who arrives here has already decided and only needs to not be slowed down. No repeated pitch, no second round of testimonials, no fields that exist for a CRM rather than the user. The alternative path is offered right beside it, send the JD over WhatsApp, because a hiring manager on a phone at 11pm will take the option that costs them the least effort.

Two audiences, two paths. A recruiting site that publishes its full vetting rubric, its pricing, and its refund terms on the page.
