Art With Leah

The goal for this project is to eventually create a plethora of resources specifically for young women that want to get started in business, start a side hustle, or pursue their passion.

I started getting really interested in business a few years ago and as a young woman, I've experienced a lot of roadblocks. People treat young women like they don't know anything, that they're gullible and incapable. Education is super important to protect against being taken advantage of.

Of course, I wanted to start making extra money but more than that, I don't want anyone to feel ignorant enough to be taken advantage of if they choose to start a journey similar to mine when they are desperate to make money.

I have developed a lot of skills from this project and still continue to learn and grow. I have significantly improved my writing, illustration, copywriting, digital marketing, and business knowledge. If I don't know it, I will find a way to learn it.

It took me a while because starting out I had to admit I was a terrible writer. While I'm not perfect, I have improved tremendously.

If I were to do this again, I would be much better prepared with all that I've learned.
