Putting the User First
Thinking through the user flows of what a customer is trying to accomplish when going to the site, collaborating with the owner we came up with a few scenarios.
- The customer is driving and needs to know the hours, directions and menu quickly.
- A group is visiting town and wants to know where the best place to get breakfast is.
- A parent is on their way to their kids soccer game and needs to grab a bite quick.
Mobile First + Clear Visual Hierarchy
A clear visual hierarchy guides people toward content or actions of importance. I created the homepage to include the: • Menu • Hours • Photos • Snippet of the owners story. This gives the user a quick insight all on one page of what the store is all about, without having to go to separate pages and links.
