UCA Branding

The UCA was created to be a non-profit community led support system for the local coffee community in the upstate of South Carolina. A hub for coffeeshops to promote events, and to house resources and connections for the coffee community as a whole. Practical applications would be monthly "Thursday Night Throwdowns", which would be hosted by different local shops and free for all to attend. 
The UCA needed branding that displayed stability, professionalism, and community. 
The Mark:
Simple and transparent, the logo evokes excitement and motion with austerity.  
Branding elements Five stars to represent the 5 counties, fluid shapes that help easily create design layout.​​​​​​​ 
Photography Focus on friendship and camaraderie. Use of flash is prevalent since many of these activities and meetings are after shop / work hours.
