Logo Design

This project is a result of one of those exciting Instagram briefs. Although it is a passion project the result is worthy of existing in the real world.

The logo should look apt for an interior decor shop and added bonus if it appears as a female-owned business.

Goals/Requirements: • Make a logo that has elements of furnishing or decor. • Make the logo feminine to have a sense of a female-owned brand

I started with Type Logo, trying to add furnishing elements like a chair or table or decor pieces like a Vase in the type. After playing around with these for a while I thought to look at it from a new angle, and while playing with the letter E, I thought what if it's a shelf that actually is the base for the decor pieces. Just like the interior shop is the place that showcases the furnishing and decor pieces. Therefore embodying the shop and not the decor pieces.

The result is a Wordmark Logo, that works on itself. But, if you feel playful, you can add furnishing elements on and around the letter E to make it lively and refreshing.

I am proud of the resulting Logo, I learned to look at my design from different angles. I realized as a designer I should think in more ways than just conventional.
