Gourmet Twist - Banana Bread E-commerce Website Gourmet Twist is an e-commerce website specializing in all types of banana bread. The platform allows customers to easily browse a variety of banana bread options, place an order, make secure payments, and have their orders delivered right to their doorsteps. The website provides a seamless experience for food enthusiasts who crave high-quality, homemade banana bread.

Problem: Many customers struggle to find reliable, high-quality online food delivery platforms that offer a smooth shopping experience for niche products like homemade banana bread. Solution: The Gourmet Twist website solves this problem by providing a user-friendly interface that showcases different banana bread variants. The website enables customers to place orders effortlessly, with secure payment integration and an efficient delivery system. As the Frontend Developer for this project, I was responsible for:

Developing the UI for the e-commerce platform using Next.js to ensure fast performance and a responsive, smooth browsing experience.

Integrating payment gateway to allow users to make secure payments for their orders.

Building dynamic pages to display the menu of banana bread options with product images, descriptions, and prices.

Optimizing the application for mobile responsiveness, ensuring the site was functional across all devices.

Collaborating closely with the backend team to integrate the frontend with the ordering system and ensure proper data flow.

Testing and debugging issues to ensure seamless user interactions and smooth performance.

Mobile Optimization: Ensuring the website was fully responsive on all devices required significant tweaking and testing. I had to make sure that images, text, and buttons were appropriately resized and aligned for mobile users.

Performance Optimization: Loading all product images and related data efficiently while maintaining high performance across devices was a challenge that I overcame by implementing lazy loading for images and optimizing static assets.

The website achieved a 40% increase in sales in the first month after launch due to its seamless user experience and easy navigation.
