A Beaded Notion is a handmade jewelry business based in Los Angeles. What began as a therapeutic hobby fifteen years ago has turned into a passion overtime. They believe that jewelry should reflect the wearer's unique personality and style, which is why each piece is individually handcrafted guaranteeing singularity and mirroring quality.

The Problem

A Beaded Notion has been struggling with a problem lately. As a brand, they don't have enough photo content for their website and social media pages, and she feels that her current images don't accurately showcase the benefits of her products. Understanding that visual content is essential for driving sales and attracting new customers, they are worried that her lack of high-quality photos will hinder her business growth.

The Solution

During the collaboration, the business owner and I discuss various photo ideas and concepts. We brainstorm ways to feature the products in a lifestyle context, showcasing the benefits of the product and how it can be incorporated into everyday life. We come up with a plan for a photoshoot that includes different scenarios, such as a person wearing a bracelet keychain to display its function and convenience.
The photoshoot is a success, and the brand is thrilled with the results. The new images are visually stunning and showcase the products in a way that accurately reflects their benefits and unique selling point. The brand can now use the photos on her website and social media pages, and she is confident that they will help drive sales and attract new customers.

The Process

Schedule a consultation via zoom or chat: Initial meeting / Introductions
The first step in the process is to schedule a consultation with the client via Zoom or chat. During this meeting, the photographer will introduce themselves and ask the client about their project and goals. This is an opportunity for both parties to get to know each other and establish a working relationship.
Planning Phase: Questionnaire + Brand overview
Once the introduction is out of the way, the photographer will move on to the planning phase. This typically involves sending the client a questionnaire to gather more information about their brand, target audience, and desired outcome for the project. The photographer will use this information to develop a clear understanding of the client's needs and goals.
Collaboration Phase: Discuss ideas, expectations and themes
In the collaboration phase, the photographer will discuss ideas, expectations, and themes with the client. This is where the client can provide input and feedback on what they envision for the project. The photographer will use this feedback to develop a creative direction for the shoot.
First proposal: Edits, feedback and corrections
After the collaboration phase, the photographer will present the first proposal to the client. This is where they will showcase their ideas and the creative direction for the shoot. The client will then provide feedback and corrections to the proposal. The photographer will use this feedback to make edits and adjustments to the proposal until it meets the client's needs and expectations.
Final Delivery: via Dropbox
The final step in the process is the delivery of the final images. The photographer will deliver the images to the client via Dropbox, where they can be accessed and downloaded. The client can then use these images for their intended purpose, whether it be for a website, social media, or marketing materials. The photographer may also provide additional services, such as image retouching or resizing, if needed.
