Orbo connects learner bookings, instructor sessions, payments, and platform administration. The product has a learner app, an Orbo ADI instructor app, and a central admin panel.
Backend scope
NestJS APIs connect the booking and payment workflows to the learner, instructor, and admin experiences. The project stack includes Node.js, Redis, and Stripe. This case study focuses on those connected workflows and the platform delivery behind them.
The booking flow
Learners choose a lesson duration, meeting point, gearbox, instructor, and date and time, then complete payment. The instructor receives the request and reviews the session details before accepting it.
Session delivery and earnings
Instructors receive reminders and can access the learner’s booking information, location, and session details. Completed lessons feed into instructor wallet earnings, with a path to withdraw funds to a bank account.
Platform administration
The admin panel brings together users, bookings, session details, financial information, notifications, and reporting. This gives the platform operator a view across the full lesson journey.
Delivered product workflows
