Getogether. - #Plan your Event in a better way!

Getogether is a platform to help you manage your event in a better and more organised way! Categorizing your whole events into multiple sub-events and creating channels for that and groups to manage conversation among all event participants.

Prototype vision

We are looking to build a platform that will cater to the needs of event planning and organizing. At first, we will be looking to focus on hosts or event organisers’ perspective and will be looking to integrate basic features allowing them to keep a check on participants, dividing the whole event into small sub-events and making it easier for them to organize, ensure communication with guests and vendors and maintain payment history. Later we can add more features to cater for vendors and make it useful for them beyond communication and focusing more towards their services and payments. The event planning won’t be limited to just weddings or birthdays, our vision would be to build a generic platform allowing users to manage any event involving big meetups or recites. Once the foundation is built, we can expand by adding more features specific to the event type(different features for different event types like managing vendors and catering services in weddings, managing speakers sessions and fun activities in case of meetups).

Features and Screenshots

Setting up event-
Setting up whole event page in less than a couple of mintues and easy to share link to invite guests to your event!
Organising with sub events-
Dividing whole event into multiple sub-events and controlling the participant in each of the sub events
Group and messages-
Multiple groups for each sub event to ensure conversations related to that sub event. Special groups for Announcements and vendors allowing only host and only vendor messaging
Budget and Payments-
Easily manage budget and keep track of payments with easy record and edit!
Easy schedule to follow
Easy to access the list of sub-events and all the important details for each sub-event with scope of improvement for venue related info
Photo Recognition-
Using photo recognition to show users their photos
Generating face embeddings for each user and based on that showing their photos only in my photos section

Note:- Due to limit issues, we aren't able to deploy the flask server and hence photo recognition won't work in live version
