TransitLink provides services towards public transport commuters. The redesign of their website is to propose an improvement based on their website goals, insights from the main website users and market landscape analysis.
The Setup
To showcase design improvements, me and my team developed an interactive hi-fi mobile web prototype and performed usability tests for feedback to validate and iterate the improvement proposal. As a team of 4, I was mostly in charge of the wireframing and prototype through the use of Figma. Research methods such as benchmarking and user interviews were done as a team.
Discovery
Through our research and findings, we concluded 3 problem statements which would suit the 3 personas we've drawn from our users.
These were the main issues we found out that led to the generation of the problem statements above.
Ideation
To further look into how to help these 3 personas, we dug deeper into the issues they faced which were the information presented and the navigation around the site. Thus we came up with a solution statement.
User Flow (with wireframes)
As we discussed on the solutions towards our users issues, we were able to generate a flow along with the wireframes which would allow clearer navigation and concise information.
Testing
To improve on our solution, we wanted to make the desired information more easily accessible and concise for the main users of the website. Through this test, we wanted to see users being able to find the information/services needed without struggling or making any errors.
Results/Findings
Through the results, we found 3 main issues where users struggled when running through the tasks. These were the Content Categorisation , Navigation System and User Interface.
Refinement
We looked deeper into tackling these issues while also implementing more UI elements which would match the brand.

Final Look
Based on the testing results, we were able to improve the design proposed where users would then be able to have clearer ways to navigate and find information, and thus allow them to confidently use TransitLink products and access e-Services more easily. Click below to view the final prototype.
