Astro portfolio website: 100 for accessibility and SEO on mobile

sabinmainali.pages.dev is my portfolio website. I built it with Astro and Tailwind CSS and host it on Cloudflare Pages. On 24 September 2026 I ran Google Lighthouse 3 times on the live home page in mobile mode. It scored 93 to 95 for performance and 100 for accessibility, best practices and SEO. The work was AI-assisted with Claude Code and human-checked.

What was the problem?

I needed one place where a client can see my work, read how I work and send me a brief. It had to load fast on a phone. It had to be easy for Google and AI answer engines to read. And hosting had to cost as little as possible.

What did I build?

14 public pages: home, work, 7 case studies, services, AI Lab, about, CV and contact.
The text lives in one data file and one file per case study, so a new case study starts as a copy of an old one.
Search basics on every page: a title, a meta description and a canonical link. The site also has a sitemap, structured data (JSON-LD) for the person, the website and the FAQs, an llms.txt file for AI tools and a generated social preview image for each case study.
A contact form that sends briefs through Web3Forms.
Self-hosted fonts, so a visitor's browser does not call a font service.
Every push to GitHub builds the site and deploys it to Cloudflare Pages through GitHub Actions.

How did I check the output?

Every deploy runs a check script first. The deploy stops if the script finds any of these:
non-ASCII punctuation in the text
invalid structured data
a broken internal link or anchor
a page without exactly one main heading
missing meta tags
words that suggest confidential employer data
Security headers are set on every page, including a content security policy and HSTS. After deploy I test the live page in Lighthouse.

What was the result?

Lighthouse, mobile mode, live home page, 3 runs on 24 September 2026:
Performance: 93, 94 and 95
Accessibility: 100
Best practices: 100
SEO: 100
Cumulative layout shift: 0. Total blocking time: 0 ms. Largest contentful paint: 2.2 to 2.5 seconds.
Hosting is on Cloudflare Pages, chosen because its free plan has unlimited requests and bandwidth.
Lighthouse mobile report for the live home page, 24 September 2026, run 3 of 3.

What would this look like for your business?

I build a fast marketing site for your SaaS or startup the same way. You get page structure and copy guidance, design and build in Astro and Tailwind CSS, a mobile-first layout, accessibility checks and on-page SEO, hosting on a free or low-cost platform such as Cloudflare Pages, and the source code with a simple editing guide. That is my "Fast marketing website for a SaaS or startup" service, $1,500 on Contra.
