Data Center Infrastructure Manager

An exclusive desktop application was developed by myself during my internship at the Network Operations department of Petroquímica de Venezuela S.A. (Pequiven) to address the ongoing issue of decentralized inventory.

The application, boiled down, it's a synchronized and centralized record for every single piece of equipment inside its data center, meant to be used by the Network Operations department personnel. It allows to user to Add, Modify, or Deactivate/Archive a piece of equipment in a separate database. In addition to this, due to Pequiven's concerns regarding security, the application has been shielded against a variety of known intrusion patterns such as DDoS attacks, Phishing, IP and MAC address recollection and an activity log detailing all of these events in an easy-to-read list organized saved as a .PDF file from the most recent event to the latest. PostgreSQL15 is used as a relational database manager.
