PROJECT OVERVIEW

When visionary hotelier Eri Luxor approached Craft & Slate, they brought a dream that defied industry conventions: create an ultra-premium boutique hotel brand that makes exclusivity its cornerstone. Limited to just 50 rooms per property, each Eri Luxor hotel would blend sophisticated urban design with cutting-edge technology and ecological mindfulness.
Our mission was comprehensive, conduct deep market research, craft a distinctive name, develop a striking visual identity, and execute a marketing strategy positioning Eri Luxor as luxury hospitality's new gold standard, standing confidently alongside legacy brands like Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton.

THE CHALLENGE
Breaking through in the saturated luxury hospitality sector demanded more than just another upscale offering. We needed to forge a brand identity that captured both opulent luxury and intimate exclusivity; a delicate balance few achieve successfully. The name and identity needed to resonate with the world's most discerning travelers while communicating what makes Eri Luxor fundamentally different: personalized, technology-enhanced experiences in boutique settings that larger luxury chains cannot replicate.

OUR APPROACH

Through extensive immersion in the high-end hospitality landscape, we uncovered a critical insight: today's luxury travelers prioritize three key elements, personalization that makes them feel singular, sustainability that aligns with their values, and seamless technology that enhances rather than intrudes upon their experience.

Creating "Eri Luxor": A Name With Purpose

The name "Eri Luxor" emerged from strategic linguistic crafting. "Eri" conveys exclusivity and intimacy with its soft, inviting phonetics. When paired with "Luxor" evoking the grandeur of ancient Egyptian civilization, it creates tension between accessibility and aspiration. This duality perfectly captures the brand's essence: world-class luxury delivered through intimate, personalized experiences.

Visual Identity That Commands Attention

We developed a sophisticated visual system built around a modern serif typeface that conveys both heritage and contemporary relevance. The palette combines rich golds and deep, saturated tones with softer neutrals, creating visual language that feels simultaneously bold and welcoming, much like the properties themselves. Every design element was crafted to communicate the brand's positioning as both exclusive and accessible.

Brand Strategy: Intimate Sophistication

At the core of our work was a brand promise centered on "intimate, sophisticated accommodations" a commitment reflected across every guest touchpoint. From reservation to checkout, the branding reinforces that each guest receives an experience impossible to replicate in conventional luxury hotels where scale often compromises personalization.

RESULTS

Eri Luxor launched to immediate recognition within the industry, securing its place among the world's premier hospitality brands. By focusing on the trinity of exclusivity, technological innovation, and sustainability, the brand has attracted precisely the discerning clientele it sought, travelers who demand nothing less than perfection but in settings that feel personally curated for them.
The brand stands as testimony to how strategic positioning can create space for newcomers even in established markets, proving that when luxury is reimagined with intention, it can still captivate the world's most experienced travelers.
