Screenplay in Progress

Overview: This is a screenplay for a comedy/drama TV show that will be several seasons long. It takes place in two partner businesses in New York – a classic 50's diner and a punk rock club. Each season will act as a new character study on how each main character's backstory informs their relationships, behaviors, and conflicts through a mostly comedic lens. The main cast contains a paramedic, a drag queen, an aspiring animator, an ex-pro boxer, and a staff of bartenders. I aim to focus how human beings change in their new adulthood and continuously ask the question, what do people owe one another?
