The project's primary goal was the rapid creation of a presentation website to serve as a professional digital portfolio.

The key requirements were to showcase curated music playlists, feature examples of the music used in video content, and provide clear links to the artist's music on other platforms.

This project serves as an excellent case study for why choosing the right tool is more important than choosing the newest one. The Wix Classic Editor proved to be the optimal solution for this specific situation.

While the Classic Editor shares the same powerful backend and business ecosystem functions as the newer Wix Studio (e.g., eCommerce, Bookings), it has one crucial advantage that was decisive for this project: app compatibility. The Wix Audio app, which was a key requirement for the client's portfolio, is currently only available in the Wix Classic Editor. It is not yet supported in Wix Studio.

By identifying this critical business need before development began, we were able to select the correct platform (Wix Classic) that fulfilled 100% of the project requirements without costly workarounds. This highlights a strategic approach: the choice of platform should always be driven by the client's specific functional needs.

At the same time, we did not sacrifice functionality or the ability to create animations and micro-interactions on the site.
