Drift: A Study in Liquid Chrome
An AI generated 3D visualization exploring one object suspended in soft, atmospheric light: a molten chrome form resting inside a bed of clouds, caught between something manufactured and something weightless. The reflective surface pulls in the sky and clouds around it, distorting and doubling them across its curves, so the object reads as part sculpture, part liquid, part machine.
This piece was built to test how far AI can push photoreal material rendering (reflection, refraction, surface tension) inside a fully imagined environment, with no reference photography involved. Every image was generated using AI, part of an ongoing exploration into abstract product and object visualization through AI direction.
