Escape Game Nazobako Tokyo wanting to increase online bookings of their escape rooms and outdoor scavenger hunts. They were looking to break into a highly-competitive escape room and were unsure how to gain traction from SEO.

The Solution

I design a custom campaign that focused on the ideal escape room player, optimized keywords intent and utilized the power of Local SEO to drive more organic traffic. Success began quickly, adding 1200 targeted ranked keywords in the first 2 months alone.

My SEO Campaign

After an initial SEO audit/Website Quality audit, Technical audit, the SEO campaign was based on a strategic set of quarterly deliverables. Escape Game Nazobako Tokyo’s first monthly report resulted in over 1,000 position gains for our target keywords, and they have been growing rapidly ever since.
The campaign strategy was also driven by the unique nature of the company’s product: all of their escape rooms are created in a Japanese theme, Samurai Espionage, Zen, and Kabuki Theater.
I knew the target audience would be interested in the Japanese culture which is are the tourist. So I started to leverage that in highly-engaging content that could drive aligned, high intent buyers to the site.
The strategy worked. In addition to an impactful keyword strategy, I provided a conversion rate optimization analysis to help Nazobako Tokyo their site, not just for search, but also for getting buyers to complete their bookings. After six months of a campaign, the campaign has begun to gain momentum. I cannot wait to find out how far it can grow!
