I acted as a tech consultant and UI designer/developer for this project. Basically, the UX testers sent Bloomist their recommendations, and I implemented them

Technologies!
I use Shopify Themekit to develop UI updates locally and to build out some smaller functionality changes. I write in the Liquid templating language and vanilla Javascript for this particular client.
My Process
Because this was a longer term client, we had to establish best practices for communication and task assignments. Here's a brief overview of what my process looks like:
Project Planning and Information Gathering
Here is where I would connect with Bloomist and discuss projects. After an initial discussion I do some relatively quick research on the assignments to review.
Analysis
During the analysis phase, I discuss with Bloomist how long I think a task may take, provide a super loose estimated cost, and ask more clarifying questions.
Timeline and Hourly Estimates
Here is where I deliver a spreadsheet with more concrete times and costs for my services. After a successful research phase, this is usually very accurate.
Scope of Work and Contract
After the estimates spreadsheet is approved, I provide a Scope of Work and contract for both myself and the company to sign. This protects both of us! 😃
Coding/ Development
This is the fun part. Here is where I implement what we have been discussing.
Testing
Another fun part. Does it work? Is it responsible on Mobile, Tablet, and Desktop? After this I send off the development stage for review.
Delivery and Deployment
If, after testing, further adjustments are needed, I return to step 5! Otherwise, we deploy to the live site.
If I work with you, how will this compare to our process together?
It would be very similar! But every client is different and has different needs. We can add steps, subtract steps, make more space for testing, or rebuild your website. It all depends on your needs, timeline, and budget.
