Mobile Object Location Tracking System

A web based system to live monitor the location of moving objects with their location displayed in a google map. It has a client-server architecture where the client is an android application installed in a handset that frequently sends GPS location information to a server using HTTP POST. While HTML, CSS and JavaScript are used for the front-end, we used PHP and MySQL for the back-end on the server side. Despite privacy issues, this project is helpful to track stolen objects, to track children and elders amongest others.
