Energetic Sports Challenge Vlog

This project involved editing a sports challenge vlog for a Polish client featuring a father and son playing football together. The client provided raw footage and requested a dynamic and engaging edit, without detailed technical guidelines, giving me creative freedom in shaping the final result.

Before starting the editing process, I consulted the client about preferred music genres and selected a suitable background track, which was approved prior to editing. The goal was to create an energetic, entertaining vlog that feels natural, fast-paced, and enjoyable for viewers in the sports niche.

I built the video with a focus on energy, rhythm, and audience engagement:

Selected and approved background music with the client

Trimmed and structured the footage for dynamic pacing

Removed unnecessary pauses and slow moments

Applied beat syncing to match cuts with the music

Adjusted audio levels and reduced background noise while keeping natural ambience

Added animated captions and motion graphics

Integrated visual effects and sound effects

Used zoom-ins and time-lapse to enhance action moments

Added subscribe plug for audience engagement

Edited in DaVinci Resolve, featuring:

– Trimming and clipping – Music selection and beat syncing – Animated text and motion graphics – Visual effects and sound effects – Time-lapse and zoom-in – Audio balancing and voice noise reduction – Subscribe plug integration

This project demonstrates my ability to edit dynamic sports vlogs, collaborate with clients on creative decisions, and transform raw footage into engaging, fast-paced content for YouTube and social media.

It highlights strong pacing, storytelling through editing, and a balance between entertainment and natural viewing experience.
