To create a portfolio for an artist, you'd think you'd have to respect the artist's style and create a web design in keeping with his or her creativity.
I believe, on the contrary, that works of art speak for themselves and should be highlighted through a clean, simple and effective design.
That way, the first thing you see is the content. Web design has to take a back seat to art.
Our screens aren't that big, so by limiting the website's field of vision, and setting the maximum height of images, navigation is much smoother.
