AI Emotional Education App for Kindergarten

We developed a simple yet meaningful AI application designed for kindergarten children. The idea emerged when we noticed a common challenge — teachers were struggling to multitask and give equal attention to every child, while many young children lacked the ability to recognize or express their emotions.

In early education, emotional awareness is just as important as academic learning. However, most teachers don’t have the capacity to individually track each child’s emotional state throughout the day. We wanted to create a solution that would empower both teachers and parents to better understand and support children’s emotional growth.

To make this vision real, we partnered with Human International School and built an AI-powered emotional education app tailored for kindergarten use.

The app features three key components:

Emotion Recognition AI detects and tracks children’s emotional states through facial and behavioral cues.

AI Robot an interactive companion that talks with children and encourages them to express their feelings naturally.

Content Section a playful learning space where children explore stories, games, and activities that nurture self-awareness and empathy.

Through this collaboration, we successfully educated over 100+ parents, providing them with insights and personalized recommendations based on their children’s emotional data. Teachers experienced reduced workload and improved classroom dynamics, while parents gained a deeper understanding of their child’s emotional development.
