Sole Symphony: A Converse Shoe Campaign Graphic

The Converse high top has been one of my favorite shoes to wear while growing up and so I thought it fitting (see what I did there) to create a mock campaign graphic to pay homage to this classic sneaker.

I was gravitating towards a theme that embodied the essence of "zen + nature." So instead of going with the commonly known black or white colorway for the shoe, I fashioned the shoe texture to be a unique olive gel-like material that in a way represents the freedom of being in the great outdoors.

To bring this all together I added a few more elements that I thought would elevate the design. First, the rock serves as a sort of pedestal adding to the theme of nature and giving the look of weightlessness for the shoe. The background is made to echo the color palette while providing some depth to the composition. And finally my favorite part - the lighting. The magic that ties it all where both the silhouette of the sneaker and rock stand out while weaving an alluring contrast of shadows.

I'm delighted with the outcome of this project. It was a fun challenge using all these elements to create around a certain theme, all while crafting an eye-catching graphic that pays homage to the timeless Converse sneaker. Here's to hoping for more opportunities to tackle similar projects—or even the real thing!
