Overview
Ubakco is a premium logistics firm specializing in "white-glove" delivery and global freight movement. The goal of this project was to establish a high-trust digital presence that simplifies the complex world of shipping and freight for both corporate and individual clients.
The Challenge
Logistics can often feel opaque and stressful for customers. The primary challenge was to take a heavy industrial service. Moving massive shipping containers and air freight and translate it into a user-friendly, accessible digital experience that emphasizes precision, reliability, and ease of use.
Strategic Objectives
Establish Authority: Use bold, professional visual design to signal reliability in freight handling.
Simplify Inquiries: Streamline the "Request a Quote" and "Track Order" flows to reduce user friction.
Consistency: Ensure the logistics management experience is as powerful on a mobile device as it is on a desktop.
Action-Oriented UX: Prioritize primary actions like "Schedule a Pickup" to drive immediate conversion.
Solution & Execution
The design uses a high-contrast palette of industrial orange (signaling energy and action) against deep charcoal and cool grays. Large, high-fidelity imagery of shipping containers provides immediate context, while clean typography ensures readability.
User Experience (UX) Features
Contextual Modals: As seen in the "Manage Your Booking" interface, we utilized focused modals to help users perform specific tasks—like downloading e-tickets or requesting refunds—without losing their place on the main site.
Direct-Action Navigation: The header features a prominent "Track Order" tool and a "Request a Quote" CTA, ensuring the two most important user needs are always one click away.
Responsive Precision: The mobile interface was optimized for "on-the-go" logistics, stripping away bulk to focus on the core "Request a Quote" and "Schedule a Pickup" functions.
