Website Redesign for a Software Development Learning Community

Noodles.dev is a community-curated collection of tutorials and courses on software development. The requirements were discussed with the client.

Timeline: 2 Months

Output: Search Feature, Listing, and Details page including tablet and mobile view

This project aimed to redesign Noodles.dev in order to:

Redesign the landing page and encourage guests to create an account and add resources.

Have a clean and modern interface.

Be viewed on tablet and mobile.

UI is a bit overwhelming for first-time users.

Randomly displays any topics.

Users cannot narrow their search results based on the type of content.

After identifying the issues, I started working on the layouts. We get approval for each page before working on high-fidelity mockups.

To encourage potential users to add resources, we have provided call-to-action buttons in the relevant sections. Displayed data was clearly defined and classified by type of content.

Users can effortlessly filter search results by content types.

The hierarchy of concepts was displayed for easier navigation.

In the handover process, I included screens for different states and provided tablet and mobile view screens.
