PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
Problem 1: User Flow for Rental Categories
Solutions: Implemented a Mega menu allowing users to navigate between
parent and child category rentals. Explored card menus and considered mobile
responsiveness.
Problem 2: User Flow for Inspiration Aggregate Page
Solutions: Featured trends at the top, offering choices between Wedding, Corporate, Gatherings, or At Your Venue. Introduced a flip card style for mobile responsiveness.
Problem 3: Maintaining Personality for Luxury Appeal
Solutions: Selected consistent theme images, minimal incorporation of the moonman mascot, and adjusted layout
RESULTS
The redesign resulted in an improved user experience, aligning with PATM's
brand while addressing key navigation and design concerns. The Mega menu
proved instrumental, providing users with seamless access to a variety of
pages. Despite development challenges, the collaboration between design and
development teams resulted in a successful project launch.
