DocBook–DITA Migration Prototype

At Everfox, I evaluated and prototyped conversion in both directions between DocBook and DITA for an acquired company. I developed XML and XSLT transformation logic, mapped the content models and schemas, and evaluated round-trip fidelity and content loss. The prototype was demonstrated to stakeholders, but management decided not to move the acquired company's documentation to the Everfox publishing tools. It remained an evaluated prototype and was not deployed in production.
