Book Review

Alex Levitan

Marissa Mayer grew up watching Sailor Moon and of course writing fanfictions about it. It seems to be an author favorite. Marissa Mayer lives near Tacoma, Washington with her husband and her twin little girls whom they adopted right before the release of Marissa’s first book (Cinder).
Nova longs for vengeance, while Adrian longs for justice. When the two meet, sparks fly and betrayals are uncovered.
Nova spends days and nights searching for vengeance amongst the Renegades. so, when an opportunity uncovers itself to take back what she lost. Nova does not hesitate. To achieve what she so desperately desires, she disguises herself and enters the rival’s territory, The Renegades. As she gets closer and closer to her target, she and Adrian meet again. This time Adrian's misplaced trust in her leads them both to a catastrophe .
The book itself draws you in with its combination of dystopian/futuristic books but within it a concept of anarchy that isn’t typically presented in this style of book.Encompassing that the book deeply explores the idea of moral ambiguity.  Causing you to slowly begin question your own morals
So for anyone hoping for an easy read this may not be exactly what you are looking for.
