ShanHai Cuties | 36 Loops Vol. 1

Inspired by the mythical beasts and the ethereal world of The Classic of Mountains and Seas (Shan Hai Jing), this project reimagines ancient Chinese mythology through a collection of 36 alphanumeric characters. Each piece is a seamless loop animation, where every creature thrives within its own distinct, meticulously crafted ecosystem. This collection is the result of an extensive creative exploration using Cinema 4D and Octane Render. The full project is divided into three volumes—this release marks Part I.
