* As this is a case study, it is necessary to change the brand's name and website content in order to make the website publish.
Challenge
Redesign the website for English Anyone's full courses, so that the site effectively promotes the courses and highlights their benefits in an engaging, friendly and informative way.
Synthesis
To help communicate information about users that I collected feedback from learners on the English Anyone website, and created a provisional persona and her journey with English Anyone.
Sarah Thompson is an ambitious marketer who needs to improve her English fluency to effectively communicate with international clients and advance her career.
The YouTube channel and website complement each other in attracting potential learners and converting them into course participants.
How might we recreate the website to effectively attract and engage potential learners, ultimately increasing conversions and driving sales?
Solution
English language learners need a clear, well-structured, and user-friendly website that effectively communicates the course content, highlights the course benefits, and outlines the expected learning outcomes, enabling them to overcome concerns related to pricing, post-purchase support, and the effectiveness of the learning results.
1. Reinforce brand recognition and credibility
Create an emotional connection by showing a video about teachers and the impact of the course on learners' lives.
*The video in the hero section would be better replaced with the instructor's self-introduction and a concise overview of the course.
2. Promote courses
Provides a glimpse into the course content, highlighting the learning outcomes
3. Enrolment support
Clearly outlines the key features and pricing options. Encourages visitors to take action and sign up for courses.
