Ziv led the design of a line of robotic pool cleaning robots for a major manufacturer, working hands-on from sketches all the way to final DFM ready files.
I led a team designing a new line of pool cleaning robots for Maytronics, a global leader in home pool cleaning solutions.
The project involved developing a single, unified chassis that could serve as the foundation for multiple distinct designs. This chassis needed to be versatile enough to cater to both direct-to-consumer (D2C) and OEM markets, supporting different branding and feature requirements while maintaining production efficiency.
Another key focus was revolutionizing the filter cleaning process by simplifying the filter assembly from a dozen pieces to just four. This significant reduction in complexity allowed for streamlined, no-touch emptying of collected waste, vastly improving the user experience.
The design introduced a fresh and differentiated form language that enabled numerous distinct variants within the product family, creating a cohesive, innovative line of pool cleaning robots.
By combining advanced technology with user-centered design, we helped drive substantial growth for Maytronics.
This project was developed alongside the amazing team at Tamooz C.S., with me as lead designer and project manager.
