Case Study: Custom Job Application Framer Component
Project Overview:
Esoft, a rapidly growing tech company, sought to enhance their recruitment process by developing a custom job application module on their website. The goal was to streamline the job application process, making it user-friendly for applicants and efficient for HR to manage applications.
Scope of Work:
1. Custom UI Design:
- Job Listing Page: Designed with filters to segment jobs by departments (e.g., Engineering, Marketing, Sales).
- Job Details Page: Created an intuitive layout showcasing job descriptions, requirements, and an apply button.
- Application Form: Developed a custom, user-friendly application form that appears upon clicking the apply button.
2. Framer Development:
- Developed responsive pages using Framer for a seamless user experience across devices.
- Implemented dynamic filters on the job listing page for easy job search and segmentation.
3. API Integration (Work in Progress):
- Integrated with Esoft's HR recruitment platform to fetch job listings and individual job details.
- Captured candidate applications and linked them to the client’s Salesforce CRM module within the recruitment platform.
Development Process:
1. UI/UX Design:
- Conducted a UX audit to understand user behavior and pain points in the existing job application process.
- Designed wireframes and prototypes in Figma for client approval.
- Applied a clean, modern design aesthetic to align with Esoft’s brand identity.
2. Framer Development:
- Translated the approved designs into functional, responsive components using Framer.
- Added dynamic filters on the job listing page, allowing users to easily segment jobs by department.
- Developed the job details page with an intuitive layout, including an apply button.
3. API Integration: (Current work in Progress)
- Integrated Framer with the client’s HR recruitment platform via API to fetch job listings and details.
- Implemented a custom application form that submits data directly to the recruitment platform.
- Ensured that candidate applications were automatically linked to Esoft’s Salesforce CRM module.
4. Backend Server Development
- Proxy Server Creation: Develop a Node.js proxy server to efficiently fetch data from your HR platform's API, prioritizing performance and reliability.
- Hosting: Host the server on AWS, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- API Integration: Integrate HR platform APIs for job listing, job details, application creation, PDF attachments, and department filters.
- API Endpoints: Provide API endpoints (e.g., Job List, Job Details) for Framer frontend integration, facilitating seamless data retrieval and interaction.
5. Security & Data Protection
- Security Implementation: Implement necessary measures to safeguard client access tokens, secret keys, and sensitive data.
- Secure Data Transmission: Ensure HTTPS and industry-standard protocols for secure data transmission across frontend, backend, and HR platform.
Outcome:
The custom job application module will significantly improve Esoft’s recruitment process. Job seekers experienced a streamlined application process, while the HR team benefited from efficient application management integrated with their existing Salesforce CRM.
