Jet Service is a skate brand Ive been helping out a lot with for the past couple years. My close friend created the brand, and when I asked him what type of website he wanted, he was very clear on keeping it as clean and simple as possible

I gathered inspiration from other very minimalistic websites I already liked, and created a small presentation in order to show my friend and figure out what he liked and disliked. After meeting up with him and discussing what Jet Service's web should look like, I had a very clear idea of what I should do, and got to work.

Since we were going to launch an online store, I figured the best tool to use in this case would be Shopify, since it would allow us to easily update the stock available, sell online, and be able to connect directly with shipping services.

Using Shopify as a web-design tool was quite easy, and we were pretty much able to finish the design in a single day. My friend was very happy with the end result, as he wanted it as minimal as possible.

I feel like this was the perfect way for me to experience what its like to design an online store, since my friend can be brutally honest with me and we always have very clear communication. I truly enjoyed the process from start to finish, and Im very eager to work on bigger, more complicated project in the future

After completing this project, I am very excited to go deeper into web design, get into coding, and use other design tools in order to be able to successfully create what I have in mind. I will definitely need to work on using different tools and being able to add different visual elements.
