Assistly — Community Support & Collaboration Platform
Assistly is a collaborative web application that brings community help requests, volunteer coordination, messaging, and resource sharing into one organized platform.
I helped build a full-stack community platform where users can create requests for help, offer assistance, communicate with others, and manage their participation through a structured workflow.
Key features include:
• Community help requests and offers
• User membership and participation workflows
• Messaging and communication
• Authentication and user management
• Admin and user-specific views
• Real-time data flows
• Interactive maps and data visualizations
The application was built with React and Firebase, using Firestore and Storage for data and file management. React Router, Material UI, Leaflet, and Recharts support the application experience.
This was a collaborative academic project where I played a major role in designing and building the application. I worked across the React frontend, Firebase integration, authentication, data workflows, and core application features, while collaborating with my teammates throughout the development process.
