About the world:
Edellia is a high fantasy setting with dark, epic overtones. The idea is that of a world confined within a colossal man-made structure (a tower, in this case), in which humans inhabit the ground floor, constantly grappling with the baleful task of reaching its creator Edel, the Sleeper (who in their eyes is god) on top of it. The basic themes are:
Terrifying human determination.
The exploitation of religion as a means to personal gain.
Gray morality (lack of good and evil within the human soul).
