Educational YouTube Video Editing for Fitness Coaches

This video was part of an educational content series for a fitness business coach helping personal trainers start and grow their businesses. The final edit was made for YouTube and course materials, with a clear, practical viewing experience for trainers learning online.

The recorded lesson had to feel polished and professional while staying easy to follow. The edit needed to support the coach’s confident, encouraging delivery and make the important takeaways stand out without getting in the way of the lesson.

I took the project through full post-production:

Edited the recorded lesson for clarity, pacing, and story flow

Built custom motion graphics in Adobe After Effects to highlight key ideas

Chose background music and added light sound effects to support the energy of the edit

Color graded the footage with a clean, bright look that matched the coach’s personal brand

Prepared the edit for use across YouTube and course content

Educational videos need room for the viewer to think. I kept the pacing focused and the graphics purposeful, using them to guide attention back to the lesson rather than compete with it.
