🚀 Overview

Vulcan-OS (VO) is an autonomous, production-ready AI orchestration layer designed for the physical world. While currently grounded in a complex industrial welding machine (the Vulcan OmniPro 220), the system is architected as a universal, hardware-agnostic support OS.
It replaces standard, clunky PDF documentation with a high-fidelity, hands-free "Support Cockpit" featuring sub-150ms intent routing, real-time vision audits for physical hardware failures, and an interactive digital twin topology engine.

🧠 The Technical Architecture & Innovation

To prevent high-risk physical mistakes on the shop floor, I bypassed standard text-retrieval wrappers and built a Layered Reliability Model:
The Deterministic Safety Arbiter: Built a custom "Truth Over Prose" layer. If the LLM generates a response contradicting hardcoded safety parameters (ProductGrounding.ts), the application layer instantly clobbers the AI hallucination and injects canonical, verified safety specs.
Digital Twin Topology Engine: Bypassed unstable AI-generated SVGs. Implemented a precision React coordinate-mapping engine that maps real-world ports to pixel-perfect UI coordinates, rendering deterministic wiring diagrams instantly.
The "Driver" Architecture (The Business Pivot): Designed the entire system to be completely decoupling-ready. Transitioning this OS to a new domain (e.g., a CNC mill, 3D printer, or complex medical device) requires zero architectural changes—only an isolated configuration array injection.
Ultra-Low Latency Multimodal Stack:
Intent Routing: Gemini Flash-Lite / Groq (< 150ms)
Vision Auditing: Claude Sonnet / Gemini Pro (< 2s for live weld-bead analysis)
Voice Orchestration: Parallel sentence buffering via Web Audio API for continuous, hands-free "gloves-on" field utility.
