A Career Coach Ready to Increase her Content Output
A busy career coach with her own Youtube channel, Gerry booked DFY content repurposing to leverage her YT videos and start sharing her message more on Linkedin.
On her application to work with us she said:
I need to increase the content that I produce without burning out. I am already creating long-form content, but the idea of having to repurpose it myself seems daunting. I’d love to focus on producing more long-form content and coaching my clients. I’d love to put my short-form content for LinkedIn on autopilot.
My LinkedIn feed has been filled with layoff announcements, and open to work posts and I can honestly feel the stress and overwhelm through my computer.
👀👀👀 I know what the usual advice is. I’ve seen and heard it all, just like you.
And usually, when you’re working to overcome applying for jobs and not hearing back, you’ll be told to update your resume.
“Beat the ATS” and “Stuff your resume with keywords”.
Sadly, resumes don’t sell for you. They especially can’t sell your potential.
You don’t need to spend 1000s of hours updating your resume, trying to get the right keywords to stand out.
Because I’m sharing the 3 ways you can work towards your goals without breaking the bank or exhausting yourself:
🙌🏾 Make an actual plan. Don’t waste a lot of time and cause yourself a lot of heartaches applying to hundreds of jobs and not hearing back and not hearing any traction.
🙌🏾Take Up Space. These companies don’t have time to be interviewing people who they’re not serious about so make yourself known.
🙌🏾Don’t take rejection personally. If they say no, it simply wasn’t a fit and move on.
I’m curious… which of these will you focus on first?

Say it with me- LinkedIn isn’t a dating app.
It’s okay if you get ghosted.
People on LinkedIn are connecting to genuinely help each other out, you know, in terms of their corporate needs.
If you send somebody a message on LinkedIn and they say, don’t message me again, then why are they in your connection?
We only want connections who are actually interested in community building and helping each other build our networks.
Are you building real connections or are you getting ghosted on Linkedin?
For those of you that answered ghosted, my group program, Career Brand Accelerator, is your next best move. Comment below “Career Pivot” to see how I can help you with your career search today.
Not hearing back after applying for a job is one of the biggest struggles of job seekers.
It’s frustrating to feel like companies and recruiters are ghosting you, and it can also cause a lot of mindset drama if you see it happening a lot.
You might start to think:
👉🏾Is there something wrong with my resume?
👉🏾Am I not valuable enough to be hired?
👉🏾Do I need to get a certification or new degree to land a job?
But there are 3 simple reasons why you might now be hearing back from your applications.
You don’t have a clear direction for the roles you’re applying for and why you want them. If you send your resume to every job posting, chances are that it’s not customized to the role and the company is passing over you.
The company doesn’t actually look at those job boards. A lot of recruiting departments have gone through recent cuts and now no one’s monitoring the job boards or inboxes attached to them.
Companies are more cautious of who they hire. They’re putting a lot of roles on the backburner so they keep the role open but aren’t actively hiring for the position right now.
I’m here to get you unstuck and into your next role. I’m anti-stuck. I get my clients unstuck and into fulfilling careers.
Do you see the last 2 happening in your industry? Let us know!
