Tennis-Core Smashes It This Fashion Season

Tennis-core has always been trendy, but thanks to Law Roach and Zendaya, it will be the style this coming season.

Brands such as Miu Miu, Tory Burch, and Lacoste have always incorporated the athleisure style. It has been around for a long time. And it is making its way back into the spotlight.

Tennis has closely been associated with luxury and leisure.

It’s preppy and it’s polished.

On the press tour for “Challengers,” Zendaya and Law Roach drew inspiration from her character Tashi Duncan, a tennis champion. Throughout the film’s premieres and the cast’s public appearances, you could see them with tennis whites, collars and pleats, sportswear fabrics, and even heels with tennis balls on them.

“I wanted to be literal, I wanted to have this cultural moment and bring tennis-core back to the masses,” Roach said. “It becomes another way to add interest to the movie.”

I swear Law is always serving up something vicious!

So far, there have been many on-theme tennis references. The duo has channeled the sport in the coolest way.

Every single one of these pieces had my jaw on the floor. From custom to vintage outfits, they all achieved the intended role.

They were magnificent!

Tennis-core is coming upon us in 2024. If you don’t look like you are trying to win Wimbledon in your next outing, what are you doing?

Not only, is styling yourself like a tennis champion in, but it is going to be a huge trend in beauty as well. More specifically, hair and I’ll tell you why.

In a hairstyle by Ursula Stephens, the actress is seen wearing a long slicked-back ponytail braid with the cutest white bow. The braid is comparable with players like Serena Williams often wearing their hair on the court.

The long braid will continue to be a popular hairstyle, especially in the summer.

Other celebrities who have played an ace with the braid recently are Gabrielle Union and Cara Delevingne.

Another trend we will be seeing more of is the white headband.

This is also an archetypal tennis look worn by several players. You can expect to see more people rocking the white cloth headbands.

It gives off that sporty look immediately.
